MERRITT GOES OVER THE EDGEOn Saturday June 11th, Merritt Environmental Consulting Corp (MECC) will participate in the annual “Over the Edge” charity event.Our team of 10 people, affectionately known as the “Toxic Avengers” will each repel down the 12-story Lee Dennison Building in Hauppauge. The event helps raise money for several charities on long Island. Each team member is responsible to raise $1,023 for the event. Our team this year includes architects, accountants, financial advisors, ballroom dance instructors, marketing directors, as well as other friends and family members that are willing to push their adrenaline levels up a few notches to help out fellow Long Islanders. On Wednesday June 1, 2011 the team will host a “Meet and Greet” event at the Grill Room (160 Adams Avenue, Hauppauge) from 6:00-8:00 PM. The Grill room has been gracious enough to provide some free appetizers and ½ priced drinks during the event. All are welcome to attend and help support our efforts.
